Roberto Cacho

Roberto Cacho, co-founder of Iconic Caribbean, is President of Grupo Cacho, Inc., which he has led through an astonishing rise during the past 30 years, with over one billion dollars of projects built and an additional one billion in inventory permitted and slated for construction during the next five years. He is a partner of Iconic Caribbean EB-5 Regional Center.

Mr. Cacho attended Columbia and Princeton Universities, majoring in Economics, and has been involved in pioneering residential, resort, hotel and commercial developments throughout Puerto Rico. One of the Company’s flagship projects is Martineau Bay Resort in Vieques, a 156-room luxury hotel and villa development completed in 2001, later sold and rebranded as the first Caribbean W. Hotel. The property has become an icon for the tourism industry.

Under Mr. Cacho’s leadership, Grupo Cacho has compiled a very diverse development portfolio which includes the purchase and development of the AIG Building in the Hato Rey Financial District, the Old Dorado del Mar Hilton, the Monte Carlo Development in Cabo Rojo, several restaurant developments and community shopping centers in major urban areas of Aguada, Barranquitas, Yabucoa, Moca, Mayaguez, and Cabo Rojo, as well as significant residential developments in the cities of Dorado, Vega Alta, Bayamón, and San Juan.
